2009 Annual Member's Meeting

We had our annual meeting Saturday afternoon and it turned out well. We kept the same officers and had two new Board Members voted in. After MUCH rain the last week, it turned off nice and sunny and all was well. My wife and I enjoyed having dinner with friends from the lake after the meeting and it was a good time had by all. Life goes on at the lake.......

Great Weekend , Good News

I just spoke with my son and he was successful in his first triathlon and just read the newest post on my grandchild to be's blog. We had a cloudy, but otherwise beautiful weekend here at the lake. I saw a white ibis fly over on Friday and caught a few small bass. Pollen is bad now,but the showers have helped. Time to get ready for work tomorrow and get to bed. Later... Timbo

First Posting

This is my first attempt at blogging, so I hope this goes okay and gets better over time. My oldest son has a blog and I find his philosophy close to mine. He thinks that the more interesting blogs are about a subject, not a person. So I write this blog to let others know what Rockingham Lake is and what may or may not be happening.
